Welcome back to WDC, this time it's WDC2009!

As always we've put together a great line up of speakers from across the UK. Not only that but we have also got local developers and designers together to help answer your questions. For the first time we will also have the perfect panel for Students and Graduates looking for their first job or placement.

Speaking at WDC2009

Elliot Jay Stocks

Always aspiring to create something “a bit different,” Elliot Jay Stocks’ work is frequently featured in online and offline publications, showcased on various “inspiration” websites, and used as an example of how accessible web design can still look beautiful. His portfolio includes work for Automattic, The Beatles, Blue Flavor, Twiistup, EMI Records, and Carsonified.

On a semi-regular basis, he writes about design trends, issues, and techniques for industry-leading publications such as Practical Web Design and Computer Arts Projects, and is currently putting the finishing touches to his first book, which will be published in March ’09.

This works out quite nicely, as he’s rather fond of travel and enjoys treating the coffee shops of the world as his office.
